Paramahamsa Sri Swami Vishwananda, an enlightened spiritual Master from Mauritius, is the founder and inspiration of the Bhakti Marga movement.

Sri Swami Vishwananda's mission is to "open the hearts of men".

His teachings offer precious inspiration and practical methods that help us find joy, peace and the Divine presence in ourselves in our daily lives. He patiently explains to us how to improve our way of living and thinking, guiding us to a higher place of trust and surrender to the Divine. He is not concerned with how we approach God, what name or form we give him, but that we do it with sincere Love and strong Devotion.
The fundamental principles of Sri Swami Vishwananda's mission Bhakti Marga are: “Love, Patience and Unity.” These three words, together, create a timeless formula that indicates both the goal and the path to reach it. Bhakti Marga is a global movement that unites thousands of people with the Divine. Sri Swami Vishwananda's example, his leadership and the path he shows – which is simple, short and heartfelt – has proven to be very much needed in the world. Bhakti Marga is characterized by an open and accepting attitude towards different forms of spirituality. It encompasses all the beliefs and religions of the world as a whole, united and harmonious. The path of devotion is about loving God, no matter what form of God one chooses and associates with himself.
 

There is only one truly pivotal moment in my life: the moment I met and immediately recognized my Satguru, Paramahamsa Vishwananda. In my case there was no room for doubt, it was the day of my rebirth, September 10, 2013, a day more important to me than the one I came to this world in this incarnation.

After a life in which, since I was a child, I have always been interested in the divine, in which I went through many esoteric schools and various masters, I found Yogananda's kriya yoga and in its disciplined practice the years went by and there was no longer any need to look for something else...I thought!  But everything has changed since the time of my first darshan with Paramahamsa Vishwananda: a living master is something incomparable if He touches our hearts as He touched me from the very beginning!

The path after this first darshan was extremely fast: 15 days later I was initiated into Atma Kriya Yoga, a month later I visited for the first time Shree Peetha Nilaya, Guruji's ashram in Germany, where I felt completely at home despite everything being new... but at the same time so familiar! And, progressively but very quickly, Guruji became the center of my life!

Now, already in early retirement by His grace, I dedicate all my time to my sadhana (spiritual practice) and to the dissemination of His teachings through the media and mainly through the Youtube channel "Paramahamsa Vishwananda em Português/English" where I'm putting everything I consider more relevant and many videos are subtitled or spoken in Portuguese.

At this moment (December 2021) we are all, devotees and followers of Paramahamsa Vishwananda, making efforts to raise the maximum amount of money for the purchase of land in the Azeitão area, which already has a house and the possibility of future construction of other buildings so that we can, finally, having our spiritual center in Portugal!
